The Hope & Honor 9/11 5K will be held on Thursday morning in Cedar Falls at 8:15 a.m. with check-in starting at 7:45 a.m.—individuals, businesses, and groups are invited to run, walk, or roll rain or shine in honor of the occasion.

Cedar Falls also hosted a boys golf triangular at Pheasant Ridge, held a girls swimming dual at Linn-Mar, and played girls tennis against Cedar Rapids Jefferson as Waterloo West faced Cedar Rapids Kennedy and Waterloo Columbus Catholic met Waverly-Shell Rock.
