Waterloo authorities plan to seize and seek proposals to restore Mount Moriah Baptist Church—a historic building built in 1911—using Iowa Code 657A; if no viable plan emerges soon, the church will be demolished.

The Wartburg women’s soccer team was picked to finish fourth in the American Rivers Conference in the coaches poll, ranking behind Simpson, Dubuque and Loras.
