RAGBRAI® and select volunteers will take part in the annual Route Inspection Pre-Ride, stopping overnight in Cedar Falls on June 5 from 3:30-5 p.m.—media may join for interviews with local and statewide planners although the event is not open to the public.
The pre-ride runs from June 1-7 as part of the run-up to the July 24 overnight stop.
🏛️ Government
The Cedar Falls city cemetery team completed a new columbarium at Greenwood Cemetery this past year that features 48 niches designed to hold two cremains each as part of a three-phase project.
The project also added a shelter for remembrance services, new fencing, and updated landscaping, and community members can call the Parks-Cemetery Division (319) 415-1911 for more information.

Gov. Reynolds is weighing whether to sign Senate File 383 that would limit pharmacy benefit managers + curb hidden pricing practices that hurt small pharmacies.
Health groups back the bill to protect local drug access while business leaders say the changes may raise costs, and she will decide by June 14.
