- ➤ RAGBRAI® and select volunteers will take part in the annual Route Inspection Pre-Ride, stopping overnight in Cedar Falls on June 5 from 3:30-5 p.m.—media may join for interviews with local and statewide planners although the event is not open to the public. The pre-ride runs from June 1-7 as part of the run-up to the July 24 overnight stop. City of Cedar Falls
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Cedar Falls city cemetery team completed a new columbarium at Greenwood Cemetery this past year that features 48 niches designed to hold two cremains each as part of a three-phase project. The project also added a shelter for remembrance services, new fencing, and updated landscaping, and community members can call the Parks-Cemetery Division (319) 415-1911 for more information. - ➤ Gov. Reynolds is weighing whether to sign Senate File 383 that would limit pharmacy benefit managers + curb hidden pricing practices that hurt small pharmacies.
