On December 2, the City of Cedar Falls opened the 2nd Street West parking lot at the former US Bank building to offer free 4-hour parking Monday—Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The temporary lot will be restructured in spring 2026 and further updates will be provided by city officials.
