The Salvation Army has started its Red Kettle Campaign and asks local residents to volunteer as bell ringers.

The campaign will help raise funds for those in need — community support is key to its success.

Crews are finishing work on the Bremer Avenue Bridge as they install safety rails and will soon pour concrete for the approaches on each side of the river — the bridge will be done on November 28.
