- ➤ The Class 4A Regional Volleyball game presented by Roling Ford was broadcast on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 yesterday, with the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks hosting the Webster City Lynx; the pre-match began at 6:45 and the first serve was at 7:00. Y99.3
- ➤ Thursday night, 12th ranked Wapsie Valley swept Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 25-15, 25-14, 25-23 and will host Lisbon on Monday in the Regional Semifinals, while 10th ranked Sumner-Fredericksburg defeated Nashua-Plainfield 25-18, 25-7, 25-14 and will face South Winneshiek in their semifinal + other regional matches saw Hudson beat Columbus in four sets, Denver sweep West Fork, Don Bosco win in four sets over GMG, 5th ranked Dunkerton defeat Turkey Valley, and 2nd ranked Janesville sweep North Butler. - ➤ On Wednesday, Wartburg’s women's team beat Coe 3-1 while the men edged Coe 1-0 in college soccer—Wednesday night in college volleyball, Bethel edged Wartburg in five sets by winning the final set with a score of 17 to 15. Y99.3
