- ➤ On Monday, two Cedar Falls boys in the Class 4A State Golf Tournament posted scores of three over 75 and six over 78, with Drew Larimer tied for 8th and Ethan Boyle tied for 24th among 82 players ahead of the final round. Iowa's Corn Country
- ➤ IHSAA released Week 8 football rankings showing four area teams: Grundy Center was 2nd in 1A, Wapsie Valley was 5th in Class A, Gladbrook-Reinbeck was 3rd and Don Bosco was 8th in 8-Man.
