- ➤ The Bremer Avenue Bridge project is moving forward in Cedar Falls as three crews work on the decking and will complete the final span by the end of next week — after which workers will pour concrete mid-month to finish the project on November 28 — officials said. Y99.3

- ➤ Tuesday night in college volleyball, Wartburg beat Loras in four sets—sophomore Anna Sash recorded 11 blocks—while UNI defeated Drake in four sets in Des Moines. Y99.3
- ➤ On Wednesday night, The Roling Ford Locker Room aired on Y99.3 at 7:00 p.m.—the 90-minute show featured football players and coaches from Waverly-Shell Rock and Clarksville as well as Wartburg head coach Chris Winter. Y99.3
- ➤ Last night, 5A 10th ranked Cedar Falls Iowa won at Iowa City High in three sets while 5A 13th ranked Waterloo West swept Cedar Rapids Washington and 2A top-ranked Denver downed Waterloo Columbus in three sets—yesterday, Waterloo East competed in the Iowa Alliance Conference Meet in Des Moines where Ottumwa led with a 316 team score, Mason City finished second with a 328, and Waterloo East placed seventh, and in Girls High School Swimming and Diving, Cedar Falls beat Cedar Rapids Washington 124–62 while Waterloo West won over Cedar Rapids Jefferson 144–41. - ➤ Tuesday in boys cross country at Jesup, the Denver Cyclones won — Jesse Gomez finished second, Myles Matthias placed fourth, and Caden Knoblock finished eighth — while Waverly-Shell Rock came in fifth with Matthew Hommowun finishing 11th. Y99.3
