In Week 5 high school football games played today, metro teams saw 9th-ranked Cedar Falls defeat Dubuque Hempstead 56-13, Dowling Catholic beat Waterloo West 55-7, and Decorah beat Waterloo East 48-7 — while area teams saw Grundy Center extend its 44-game win streak with a 56-8 win over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and Union, Wapsie Valley, and Gladbrook-Reinbeck win 41-2, 27-16, and 42-27 respectively.
