  • Wednesday night in college volleyball, Iowa State edged Iowa in a five-set match with scores of 25—23, 25—13, 21—25, 21—25 and 15—12 marking the Cyclones' fourth consecutive win.  Y99.3
  • On Wednesday night, the Wartburg women's soccer team beat Augustana of Illinois 5-1—Nikayla Youngblut and Sami Webster each scored two goals to lead the win.  Y99.3
  • On Thursday night, the 4th ranked Janesville Wildcats hosted the 8-4 Don Bosco Dons in Iowa Star Conference volleyball on Y99.3—prematch began at 7:15 p.m. and the game started at 7:30 p.m.  Y99.3
  • Metro high school football takes place tomorrow night with Waterloo West hosting Fort Dodge at the UNI-Dome, Waterloo East playing at Charles City, Waterloo Columbus Catholic traveling to Jesup, and Cedar Ridge Christian hosting West Central—Cedar Falls, ranked 10th with a 2–1 record, holds its annual Homecoming game against Iowa City High with pregame coverage on Cruisin’ KCFI at 6:30 and a kickoff at 7.  Iowa's Corn Country
  • Several area volleyball teams were ranked – Cedar Falls earned a 10th spot in Class 5A, Waverly-Shell Rock came in 12th, Denver led Class 2A, Wapsie Valley was 8th, Sumner-Fredericksburg finished 11th, Janesville ranked 4th and Cedar Ridge Christian placed 15th in Class 1A.  Y99.3
