Metro high school football games kick off tomorrow night as 10th ranked Cedar Falls with a record of one win and one loss will travel to Dubuque Senior—Waterloo West hosts Dubuque Hempstead at the UNI-Dome—other Metro teams will play with Waterloo East at Fort Dodge, Waterloo Columbus Catholic in Lisbon, and Cedar Ridge Christian facing Tripoli.

Thursday night, Cedar Ridge Christian upset 9th ranked Dunkerton in high school volleyball after winning in five sets with scores of 27—25, 17—25, 20—25, 28—26 and 15—12.

Ana Aguilar led the Regents with 18 kills while Dunkerton saw Daisy Fettkether and Kylee Pexa each reach 21 kills.

Waverly-Shell Rock football will be on air today on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 as the 1—1 Go—Hawks face the 0—2 Western Dubuque Bobcats with a pregame at 7:00 and kickoff at 7:30.

Tomorrow, the 10th-ranked Knights will leave to play UW-Stout on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 — a Countdown to Kickoff Show airs at noon and the game starts at 1:00.

Week 3 of high school football features four ranked teams in action — top-ranked Grundy Center visits Dike-New Hartford while 7th-ranked Wapsie Valley travels to North Cedar; 3rd-ranked Gladbrook-Reinbeck plays at Colo-Nesco and 9th-ranked Don Bosco competes at Janesville.

Today, the 1-2 Janesville Wildcats will host the 1-1 Don Bosco Dons in an 8-man game broadcast on Y99.3 with pregame at 6:20 and kickoff at 7:00.
