Yesterday, the high school boys golf season began at the MVC Super Meet at South Hills in Waterloo where Cedar Falls competed and local golfer Drew Larimer won the individual title with a score of 68—Cedar Falls finished fourth with a team score of 297 while Waterloo West also competed.

Dike-New Hartford high school football coach Don Betts joined The Drive—previewing the Wolverines’ upcoming 2025 season.

Former Cedar Falls High School standouts Owen Sawyer and Maxwell Tjoa traveled to San Francisco to compete in the 125th U.S. Amateur Championship at The Olympic Club this week.

Sawyer earned a direct exemption by winning the Iowa Amateur and Tjoa advanced from local qualifying but both missed the cut to continue into match play.
