- ➤ A residential fire engulfed a home at 113 Cedar Crest Drive early Monday at 2:52 a.m. (Black Hawk County Dispatch Center reported the incident) (the house sustained significant damage). Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Waterloo Police asked the public to help identify a light-skinned male suspect who attacked people with fireworks on July 4th near West Third and Baltimore Streets by throwing fireworks into an occupied vehicle that injured the driver and damaged it+ police urge anyone with information to contact them. - ➤ A Waterloo man was arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of electrical cables near Falls Avenue and Duryea Street – surveillance video showed him loading $10,000 in cables from Gabe’s Construction into his truck. Y99.3
