- ➤ Cedar Falls will serve as an overnight town for RAGBRAI on July 24 and will see road closures and limited downtown parking to help manage heavy pedestrian and bike traffic—residents should plan extra travel time and use alternative routes. City of Cedar Falls

CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Waterloo Police investigated the alleged robbery of a pizza delivery driver on Sunday night when she was ambushed near 409 Edwards Street just before 11:00 p.m. by three men + one of whom reportedly had a gun and took her pizza and money. Y99.3
- ➤ A 15-year-old boy was charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury, Going Armed, Intimidation with a Weapon and Use of a Weapon in a Crime after he allegedly fired an AR-15 outside 1724 Mulberry Street Sunday night, with one round striking a woman in the leg while other shots killed 20-year-old A’tarion Spates for whom he was not charged—he was released to Juvenile Court Services. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting Tuesday, July 15, at 8:00 a.m., Canadian National Railroad will close Leversee Road between West Airline Highway/Lincoln Street and Rail Way for repairs, with full closure of both crossings. The road will reopen by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22—and drivers can use Lone Tree Road and Dunkerton Road on the north side and Lincoln Street and West Airline Highway on the south side.
