- ➤ City of Cedar Falls is asking volunteers to help as RAGBRAI stops on Thursday, July 24th—helpers will place signage, greet cyclists, assist at shuttle stops, direct RV parking, manage road closures, and clean up litter. Interested individuals and groups must sign up online by July 16th. Y99.3

- ➤ Mayor Danny Laudick was born in Grand Junction and moved to Cedar Falls as an infant; he earned his Business Economics degree at the University of Northern Iowa and has started local projects (such as Cedar Valley Makerspace and Red Cedar). - ➤ UNI’s Athletics Hall of Fame will add six new individuals and one new team on August 29. Basketball star Diane (Roberts) Harm, wrestling standout Marv Reiland, track runner Crystal (Cook) Hanson, football star Matt (Bob) Pedersen, football player James Lindgren and wrestling official Michael T.
