- ➤ The City of Cedar Falls and the University of Northern Iowa announced that the free fireworks display will be rescheduled to Wednesday, July 2 because inclement weather forced last night's delay. - ➤ Cedar Falls Fire Rescue responded on June 26th, 2025 at 7:08 p.m. when lightning struck a house at 705 Winters Drive—fire crews found that the roof and front porch sustained significant electrical damage while no one was injured. Y99.3
