- ➤ Giovanni Davis, a 27-year-old Indiana student at the University of Northern Iowa, pleaded to reduced charges for a 2022 robbery spree at a convenience store on Franklin Street and two hotels on Nordic Drive and was sentenced today to 10 years in prison with a five-year minimum—he said he needed money for rent.
