The City of Cedar Falls and the University of Northern Iowa will host Fireworks Over the Dome on Thursday, June 26—starting around 9:40 p.m. at the intermural fields west of the UNI Dome—with live broadcast on K92.3 and new on-site concessions from UNI Athletics.

Chris Hale (they/them) leads Cedar Falls Community Theatre at the historic Oster Regent Theatre and works to build inclusive creative projects.

They also serve as Board President of Main Street Waterloo and freelance as a stage manager and intimacy choreographer, holding a BA in Applied Music from Wartburg College.

Governor Kim Reynolds vetoed a bill that would have required carbon capture pipeline projects using eminent domain to serve the public’s interest— the measure targeted a private pipeline project in the KWAY listening area and imposed insurance mandates Reynolds said could kill such projects. House Speaker Pat Grassley asked legislators to sign a petition urging a special session to override the veto.
