Olympic skateboarder Julia Brueckler will attend the park master plan event on Thursday (June 4) in Cedar Falls, where city officials will share new park design ideas.
Road construction on T77 (Casper Avenue) and C38 (210th Street) northwest of Waverly began Tuesday with one lane open and flaggers on site.
Motorists experienced delays and were advised to plan accordingly.

The 2026 Concerts in Kohlmann Series starts Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Shades of Rhythm Amphitheater at Kohlmann Park with Cross the Line Worship Band and Greater Waverly Municipal Band and continues weekly with guest acts; bring your own lawn chairs as all concerts are free.

On Tuesday, the Go-Hawks hosted Western Dubuque in a Class 2A Regional Semifinal Girls Soccer game while the baseball team faced Iowa City Liberty and the softball team played Western Dubuque.
Monday night, the softball team beat Jesup 11-6 on Y99.3.
