- ➤ During Monday's sentencing for voluntary manslaughter in the death of Rebecca Taylor, a relative struck Lamarcus Williams on the side of his head as he approached the witness stand & another family member spat in his hair while a deputy restored order, and Williams was sentenced to up to 10 years to be served consecutively to his probation sentence. - ➤ Beginning Tuesday, May 27, PCI will fully close West Viking Road from Union Road to the roundabout at Innovation Drive for reconstruction—residents will use a temporary access road and a detour using Union Road, University Avenue and Hudson Road while the work is expected to last four months.
