- ➤ A Des Moines woman (19-year-old Tana Potter) was arrested on Sunday for allegedly threatening to post nude photos and videos of a Cedar Falls woman and her sister unless paid $600 and she faces charges of extortion and third degree harassment while held in Black Hawk County Jail. Y99.3

- ➤ TheatreUNI is presenting 'Timeless Journeys'—a play written and produced by students who gathered imaginative stories from older adults at Western Home Communities. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Bremer Avenue Bridge replacement is delayed from its planned finish on September 1 to November 28 because problems in construction pushed the timeline back. Pete Hjelmstad said workers will return to the river by the end of this week or early next week — a change that will affect project schedules — as officials update plans. Y99.3
