The Waverly-Shell Rock boys rugby team will compete at the Class 2A State Tournament Friday night at Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge + KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 will cover the game starting at 6:30 p.m.
On Monday night, the Hudson boys soccer team beat Columbus 5-0 on Y99.3 — Anderson Yoder scored four goals while Mason Fogt added one in the match.
Tuesday evening, Cedar Valley listeners tuned into Y99.3 as the 1-8 Denver Cyclones hosted the 7-3 Grundy Center-Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels with a pre-match at 5:15 & kickoff at 5:30.
On Monday, 23rd ranked Wartburg swept Augustana 6-1 & 5-4 to lift its record to 31-9, and the team will start the American Rivers Conference Tournament on Saturday with a first-round bye.
