1st Street SE (between 1st Ave SE and 2nd Ave SE) will be closed from Tuesday, March 31 through Friday, April 3 for sewer line installation work by a private contractor.
Work to reconstruct U.S. 218 will begin on Thursday, April 2 (weather permitting) from the Cedar River to Iowa 116 in Waverly; crews will use head-to-head traffic patterns to keep access open and finish the project by late April.
