Officials reported that across 18 Cedar Valley school districts, enrollment dropped by 2.3% with 640 fewer students while the ESA saw an increase.
🏈 Sports
On Saturday, the Wartburg men's wrestling team won its 17th National Championship with 110 points plus individual titles for Kade Blume and Kasey Ross as Coach Eric Keller was named Coach of the Year and the Knights posted 42 more points than UW-La Crosse.
Selection Sunday set Iowa college basketball matchups.
In the men's tourney, UNI plays St. John's at 6:10, Iowa meets Clemson at 5:50, and Iowa State faces Tennessee State at 1:50 — in the women's tourney, Iowa State plays Syracuse at 4:30 and Iowa meets FDU at 3:00.
