- ➤ UNI women's basketball beat Indiana State 92-73 & the men's team beat Evansville 68-59 on Thursday, advancing in the MVC quarterfinals to face Illinois State at 8:30 p.m. Y99.3
- ➤ The Iowa men’s basketball team fell short of a comeback against third-ranked Michigan (losing 71-68) in Cedar Valley Sports on Thursday night. Y99.3
- ➤ On Friday, Y99.3 aired two Girls State Tournament Basketball semifinals. At 10 a.m., the 23-2 Denver Cyclones, a fourth seed, played the 21-1 top-seeded Hinton Blackhawks, and at 1:30 p.m. the 23-2 Dunkerton Raiders, a fifth seed, faced the 1-seeded Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears. Y99.3
