The Wendy’s in Cedar Falls closed, confirmed by KWWL, after the company announced last November it would shutter up to 600 underperforming locations nationwide — both Wendy’s in Waterloo remain open.
🎓 Education
The University of Northern Iowa will add new programs to its colleges of Education and Social and Behavioral Sciences and start two academic restructuring actions to improve teaching.
Officials say the changes will help students prepare for future jobs.
Cedar Falls High School will present 'Les Miserable, Student Edition' — a student production — at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday on campus.

On Sunday, men's basketball UNI defeated Drake 75 to 53, while women's basketball saw ranked 9 Iowa beat Wisconsin 81 to 52 and Iowa State defeat Kansas State 93 to 79 to wrap up the season — Audi Crooks scored 41 points for the Cyclones.
