CULTURE NEWS

  • A new exhibit telling Cedar Falls’ history is on display at the Victorian House Museum; an open house reception will be held Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. for those interested in exploring local heritage.  Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier

  • Monday night in men's basketball, 6th ranked Iowa State beat 2nd ranked Houston 70-67 — a close game that energized local fans.  Y99.3
  • Former Go-Hawk Jake Walker of Wartburg was named the American Rivers Conference male athlete of the week and wrestler of the week on Feb. 17, recognizing his strong athletic performance.  Y99.3
  • On Tuesday night, the 4th ranked Denver Cyclones hosted Sumner-Fredericksburg on Y99.3 with pregame at 6:45 p.m. + tip at 7:00 p.m., while the 6th ranked Dunkerton Raiders faced Pekin on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3.  Y99.3
