About this event
Whether you're a total beginner or someone who took lessons years ago and wants to pick it up again, this Adult Group Piano course is a great fit for you!
Classes take place in the piano lab at UNI, which is fitted with high quality electronic keyboards and headphones. This class has a low pressure learning environment, where mistakes are welcome and support is plentiful.
Your teacher will guide you through the basics of piano posture and technique, help you gain confidence in your reading of music notation, and provide you with fun and motivating music to play in class and at home.
Each week's lesson will also feature headphone time (in which you can use your piano headphones to play without anyone listening to you), and outloud time (where you will be guided through an ensemble piece that everyone plays together).
